The Crew heads to Fort Smith to try out the new Parrot Island Water Park

We paid a visit to the Parrot Island Water Park before it opened and found it so interesting we had to go back to check out the slides after it opened.  The Arkansas CW Street Team members Shelby and Drew had a blast.  Check out the video below.










Here are some of the features we discovered at the new water park:

Three twisting, turning thrilling slides:




Pelican Plunge- Twist and turns for over 265 feet including translucent bands along the way.

Tangerine Twist- From 35 feet off the ground you will flow almost 200 feet on a twisting track to plunge pool.

Blu Macaw- Open top slide is a gentle glide along a 200 foot path from 30 feet in the air to the plunge pool below.

Heart Stopping Speed Plunge Slide:

Pineapple Plunge-  40 foot high speed plunge slide that drops you at a 45 degree angle 135 feet to the run out below.



Four Slides for Tiny Tots:

Double The Fun-  A double slide offers side by side sliding fun
Red & Twisted-  Red slide offers twists & turns for the little ones
Gentle Green-  Straight and short but long on fun!
Cool Blue-  tallest slide for little ones with a curved slide to the water below.


More Park Features:

Caribbean Splash Wave Pool-  Tidal waves in 85,000 gallons of water in the region's only wave.




Crocodile Creek Lazy River-  Float down the 500 foot lazy river with a tropical waterfall and surprises along the way.

Toucan's Cove Activity Pool-  250,000 gallons of aquatic fun connect to Crocodile Creek!  Lily pads, basketball courts and much more.

Tiny Turtle Island Pool & Splash Area-  Tiny Turtle Island Pool and Splash Area in short depth for tiny tots to climb, splash and slide.

The Oklahoma Renaissance Festival at Castle of Muskogee



This is the 20th Anniversary of the Oklahoma Renaissance Festival.  We stopped by to check out what is going on at this years festivities.
